QUAY WALL HARBOR BARCADERA

The renewal and extension of the quay wall at the Barcadera port is part of a comprehensive plan to move Aruba’s container terminal from its current location at the Paardenbaai area to Barcadera.

This was initiated to start new touristic developments of the former harbor and free zone area, which is in Oranjestad. The Barcadera area is a commercial zone where the harbor facilities are more logical to be situated.

Albo executed the project as a subcontractor for the Aruban Ports Authority and has delivered the project in time and to the full satisfaction of the customer.
