This plan is implemented in our project execution method and helps ensure the complete satisfaction of our clients. We never rest and continually strive to improve our quality and efficiency.
At Albo Aruba N.V. we believe that every accident is avertable and we continue our pursuit of doing our work with zero accidents. No other number is acceptable.
With the arrival of many foreign employees on Aruba, each with his/her own interpretation of the concept of safety, it became necessary to regulate the organization of safety within the company authoritatively.
This is why in 1995 Albo Aruba N.V. introduced and implemented a safety plan called Safety, Health and Environment, abbreviated S.H.E. By effectively implementing the S.H.E. plan, Albo Aruba N.V. contributes to improving the safety of its employees, reducing absence due to illness and accidents and protecting the environment. In 2013, the entire plan was updated and adapted to new regulations.
Furthermore, every supervisor organizes toolbox meetings on his project on a weekly basis. Participation is mandatory for all employees present on the job site. During these meetings different aspects of the S.H.E. plan are discussed.
Albo Aruba N.V. is one of the few construction companies on Aruba that retains a qualified employee who is exclusively charged with the supervision and compliance of the S.H.E. plan.
